Changelog
What we've been building.
v1.12
13 July 2026Drag documents into folders
In the Document Manager, you can now drag documents straight onto a folder — or onto Unfiled — to move them, and it works with a whole multi-selection at once. It’s a quicker way to reorganise than the move menu.
Re-generate notes on a stuck document
If a document’s AI notes didn’t finish generating, the Document Manager now has a Re-generate button to run them again — so a document that failed to process doesn’t stay stuck.
New Catalogue category in the library
The library has a new ‘Catalogue’ category for product catalogues, alongside the existing types like Book, Standard, Regulation, and Guide.
v1.11
12 July 2026Document Manager for project files
You can now open any project’s documents in a full-screen manager — from the expand button on the Project Documents widget — and organise them like a file explorer. Create, rename, and move nested folders; move, rename, or re-categorise documents; and select several at once for bulk moves, re-categorising, or deletes. You can also search and sort across the whole project, see each document’s AI notes in a side panel, and upload straight into the folder you’re viewing.
Edit documents in the library
In the library, you can now rename a document and change its category after it’s uploaded, so you can tidy things up without re-adding them. Deleting a document now asks you to confirm first.
v1.10
12 July 2026Custom billing cycles
In a project’s Financials tab you can now define your own billing cycles — each with its own start and end dates and its own hourly rate — instead of fixed monthly periods running from a single start date. A ‘Customize’ action seeds the cycles you already have so you can adjust from there, and overlapping or invalid date ranges are caught before you save.
Safer deletes
Removing something important now asks you to type its exact name or email and confirm before it happens, instead of a single click — so nothing is deleted by accident.
Account deletion made team-aware
If you’re part of an organization, your account is now removed by an admin rather than deleted by you, so the project knowledge you’ve built stays with your team as shared context. Solo accounts can still delete themselves — and everything they hold — at any time.
Big PDFs no longer stall
Uploading a very large PDF — a standards document hundreds of pages long, say — could leave it stuck while its notes were being generated. Large documents now ingest and finish generating their notes reliably, processed in smaller sections that always complete.
v1.9
7 July 2026Smoother, steadier loading
Widgets now load with placeholders shaped like their content instead of spinners, and pages fade smoothly as you move between views — so the app feels calmer and quicker to open. When a widget has nothing to show it says so clearly, and if it can’t load its data you’ll get a simple ‘try again’ instead of a blank space. Everything follows your system’s reduced-motion setting if you prefer less movement.
Security hardening
As part of our pre-launch review, we strengthened how sign-ins are verified and how administrator access is protected. Some Microsoft accounts may need to sign in again once.
v1.8
4 July 2026Download attachments on Outlook
If you connect a Microsoft account, you can now download email attachments — individual files, or all of them at once as a zip. Previously this only worked for Gmail, so Outlook users could see attachments but not save them.
v1.7
3 July 2026Read-only access to your mail
PCI now asks only for read-only access to your email — it can read and search your messages, but never change or send them. You’ll be asked to re-approve the narrower permissions the next time you connect your account.
Steadier meetings widget
Fixed a crash that could break the meetings widget when it was open alongside the vault. Both now load their data reliably side by side.
v1.6
2 July 2026Images in chat
You can now paste or upload images directly into the project assistant chat, so screenshots, diagrams, and photos can go alongside your questions.
Snappier knowledge graph
The knowledge graph now settles once and stays put — its layout is remembered between sessions, so it opens instantly every time.
Smoother assistant typing
Fixed a lag that made the assistant’s replies stutter while typing out longer answers.
v1.5
23 June 2026Faster dashboard
Widgets now share data instead of each fetching on their own, and off-screen widgets load only when you scroll to them — so the dashboard opens noticeably quicker.
Task sync respects your provider
Tasks now sync from your actual provider — Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do — instead of defaulting to one.
No more duplicate task tabs
Saving project settings no longer creates duplicate task tabs.
v1.4
19 June 2026Delete your account
You can now permanently delete your account from settings, which removes all of your data across the app in one step.
Redesigned project chat
The project assistant chat now keeps full message history with a smooth typing reveal, voice input for dictating questions, and diary entries you can generate on demand.
More accurate table extraction
The assistant no longer guesses column mappings on flattened tables, giving cleaner data and more reliable citations.
v1.3
11 June 2026Billing and timesheets
The time tracker now has a billing view with target hours, per-session breakdowns, and billable earnings — plus CSV timesheet export ready for invoicing.
Instant knowledge graph
The knowledge graph was rebuilt to open fast even with thousands of notes, with a quick settle animation and fit-to-view on open.
Cleaner vault tags
Vault tags are now normalised automatically — plurals and synonyms merge into a single consistent tag, so related notes group together.
Open projects from the sidebar
Click a project in the sidebar to open it directly in a modal, without leaving your current view.
Clearer usage limits
When you reach a monthly AI usage limit, the assistant now explains it clearly instead of showing a generic error.
v1.2
8 June 2026Sharper vault notes
The assistant now saves smaller, single-idea notes, so the vault reads cleaner and search pulls more focused results.
Clearer knowledge graph
Library knowledge now clusters by concept instead of hanging off the chat node, making connections easier to follow.
Math rendering on multilingual notes
Equations now render correctly in notes that mix languages and symbols.
v1.1
29 May 2026Scales to thousands of documents
Document retrieval was rebuilt with single-pass chunking, so search and answers stay fast and accurate even across thousands of files.
Project Documents
A dedicated space to upload and organise project files by category, with drag-and-drop upload. Everything is chunked, embedded, and instantly searchable by the assistant.
PDF text extraction
Uploaded PDFs now have their text extracted automatically before chunking, giving the assistant cleaner context and better citations.
Vault graph and tags
Browse vault documents with new navigation controls, organise them with tags, and explore how notes and tags connect in the knowledge graph.
Project Diary
The assistant now keeps a project diary, automatically distilling your past conversations into dated insights so it builds deeper understanding of every subject over time.
v1.0
22 May 2026Onboarding welcome screen
New users are greeted with a welcome modal that walks through the three key steps: create a project, upload a document, and ask the AI assistant.
Widget empty states
All dashboard widgets now show helpful guidance when empty — icons, context-aware messages, and action buttons that take you directly to the next step.
v0.10
22 May 2026Projects search, filters & list view
The Projects page now has a sticky search bar, filter by client and phase, sort options, and a dense list view — making it easy to navigate hundreds of projects at a glance.
Navigation subtitles
Each page in the top bar now shows a short subtitle describing its purpose — Home, Projects, Library, and Settings.
System theme support
The appearance settings now include a System option that follows your OS dark/light mode preference automatically.
Feedback submission
The feedback button now sends notifications via email, making it easier to track user reports.
v0.9
22 May 2026Security hardening
Several security improvements across API routes, webhook handling, and file serving. No user action required.
Larger widget canvas
Widgets can now expand taller on larger screens, giving more room to your most important data.
