Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 May 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Project Context Interface ("PCI", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by João Pinto, a freelance developer ("we", "us", "our").
Description of the Service
PCI is an AI-powered dashboard that connects to your email, calendar, meetings, and documents to help you manage project context. Features include document search, email integration, meeting transcription, task management, and an AI assistant with access to your connected data.
Access and eligibility
Access to PCI is by invitation only. You must authenticate using a Google or Microsoft account whose email address has been explicitly granted access. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not use the Service to process data you do not have the right to share.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- When you connect third-party accounts (Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.), you confirm you are authorised to grant PCI access to that data.
Data and privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or connect to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Recall.ai, and MongoDB Atlas. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct or availability of any third-party service.
Intellectual property
All software, design, and content comprising PCI (excluding your data) is owned by João Pinto. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our name, logo, or trademarks.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or complete. You use AI-generated summaries, suggestions, and answers at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, João Pinto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
